Hey there, I’m Ashley, Founder & CEO of Biz Ecademy.
If the idea of entrepreneurship makes you part excited and part queasy all at once, I know exactly how you feel! I remember well how daunting my first business venture was. How scared I was, and I felt like I was jumping off a tall bridge without a parachute.
Now, I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 30 years, and today I have multiple businesses that generate multiple streams of revenue. I’m a certified market research expert with a strong interest in psychology and human behavior. And these all come in quite handy when it’s time to start and grow a business.
So, whether you’ve been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, or you’re a parent of school-aged children and need to work from home, or you’re in a midlife makeover phase and find yourself headed in a new direction, or even if you’re a retiree not quite yet ready to be retired, you’ve found the right place.

My Business Philosophies
I have not one but TWO business philosophies:
- Money loves speed. What does that mean? The faster you learn and implement, the faster money finds you. An experienced guide can save you money by getting you where you want to be faster and with probably less therapy!
- Work smarter, not harder. What does this mean? Suppose you’re a DIY person who wants to scour the internet and watch video after video on YouTube, or suppose you feel like you don’t have the money to invest in yourself to learn something new. In that case, the cost of not learning quickly and not implementing could cost you far more than the amount your original investment would’ve been.
What to Expect From This Blog
We’re pretty laid back and all about the easy button around here, so you probably won’t find many blog posts that are optimized with 65,050,433 words and half as many images telling stories you really don’t care about to get to the meat of the article. Instead, when we do tell stories, they’ll have an actual purpose: oftentimes to share what I learned – the hard way – NOT to do.
